The Aquardens thermal baths at Pescantina
a thermal park with salt-bromine-iodine water between 30 and 40 degrees, and a free motorhome car park a hundred metres from the entrance
The reason a day here works in a motorhome comes down to one piece of logistics: the car park is inside the complex, it is free, and a hundred metres separate it from the entrance. You leave the vehicle and for six hours you do not need it again. The water is genuinely thermal, salt-bromine-iodine, recognised by the Ministry of Health for balneotherapy, and it reaches the pools between 30 and 40 degrees: you can stay in it a long time even in winter, which is when we went.
Getting there
- From the north you leave the A22 at Affi and take the SS12 towards Pescantina, from the south you leave at Verona Nord and follow the same SS12 the other way
- The yard is gravel, level and free of tight turns: a long vehicle fits without trouble
- Anyone sleeping here stops at the top end of the yard, at 45.50694419490696, 10.827810141765811: no services, lit at night, overnight parking only, and it is not a serviced motorhome area
Practical information
Duration six hours is the right measure for a family; otherwise there are two hour and four hour tickets, enough if you are passing through
Suitable for families with small children, who have shallow pools and dedicated areas; the sauna area is closed to under 14s
Booking not needed, tickets are sold at the entrance; buying online avoids the queue at the desks
