Write to us

The form below arrives in a mailbox we read ourselves, not a help desk. We answer when we are parked: on the road the signal comes and goes, and an answer written calmly in three days is worth more than one written in a hurry tonight.

What we are glad to receive

  • A correction: a price that changed, an area that closed, a new sign. If it concerns one particular entry, the quickest way is the "report" link at the foot of that entry, because the correction then arrives already attached to the right place
  • A place we ought to see, and above all why: the why is the part that makes us change route
  • A question about how we did something, from the vehicle to cooking on board. If the answer is useful to other people too, sooner or later it becomes a page
  • A mistake in a translation: the site is read in four languages, and people who really speak them notice before we do

What we cannot do

  • We do not organise trips and we do not book pitches on anyone's behalf
  • We do not publish paid content and we do not write entries to order
  • We do not pass anyone's contact details on to anybody else

What happens to what you write

The message reaches us by email and stays there: it goes into no mailing list, it is not used to send you anything else, and it is not handed to anyone. The address you write serves only to answer you, and it is optional, but without it we have no way of replying.

The rest is in the privacy policy, which is written in plain language and not in legalese.

If you prefer another way

We are on Instagram as well, where the photographs arrive before the entries do. We read direct messages, but later: the mailbox stays the place to write for anything that wants an answer.
